Perrish Cox Makes Appearance In Court
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver Broncos defensive back Perrish Cox made his first appearance in court Friday since an arrest affidavit was unsealed in his sex assault case.
Cox is accused of having sex with a woman at his apartment last October while she was incapacitated and impregnating her.
Cox missed the Broncos morning practice on Friday so he could be in the courtroom for what was mostly a procedural hearing.
At this point Cox is fighting for a spot on the Broncos final roster. The deadline for NFL teams to cut their teams down to the required 53 players will be on Sept. 3.
