Woman Facing Cruelty Charges Wants Animals Back

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) – A woman facing animal cruelty charges is expected in court and she wants her animals back.

Holiday Christie says she isn’t ready to go home to Texas without her dogs, cats and goats.

The 19 animal-cruelty misdemeanors Christie faces in connection with the pets could be resolved Wednesday during a court hearing.

According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan, many of the animals have already been adopted. Two dogs were euthanized because of health problems.
