3rd Suspect Wanted In Springs Auto Parts Store Killing

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - A third suspect is wanted on a charge of accessory to murder in a shooting at a Colorado Springs auto parts store.

Police said Tuesday they are looking for Frani Olivas, 48, in connection with the July 27 shooting death of Joaquin Paniagua of Colorado Springs. Another person was found wounded in the store parking lot.

Police say Olivas is also known as Frani Romero.

Ernest Schmidt, 60, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and other charges. His wife, Dawn Morgan, 35, was arrested on suspicion of being an accessory to first-degree murder.

Police say Schmidt is also known as 47-year-old Edward Coffey.

The auto parts store killing was one of three unrelated shootings in Colorado Springs that day that left four people dead.
