Cyclists Find Body Of Man On Lookout Mountain

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - A body of a man was found on Lookout Mountain Wednesday afternoon.

The body was found by two cyclists on Lariat Trail in Windy Saddle Open Space Park atop Lookout Mountain.

The cyclists told police they stopped to take a rest around 3:20 p.m. and saw the body below where they were resting.

Lariat Loop had to be completely closed to both cyclists and drivers while police investigated.

Police were calling the death suspicious even though they said there were no obvious signs of trauma to the body.
