Marijuana Odors Cause Problems For Dispensary Owner
SILVERTHORNE, Colo. (AP) -- The owner of a Silverthorne medical marijuana dispensary is promising to clean up odors after other tenants complained to the Silverthorne Town Council.
High Country Healing owner Nick Brown says he's taking strides to remedy the marijuana odor. He says the smell has gotten worse in the last two months and he has hired an engineer to correct the problem.
According to the Summit Daily News, cultivation of marijuana is only permitted when the businesses are equipped with a ventilation system that filters out the odors of the marijuana so it is not detectable outside the business.
