Teacher Suspended For Allegedly Saying He Wanted To Kill Students

FALCON, Colo. (CBS4) - A German teacher language teacher in the Colorado Springs area has been suspended for what students call some bizarre behavior.

Falcon High School Teacher Brian Rappatta reportedly told his students if they wouldn't be quiet he was going to kill someone.

Students say he also told them in the first week of class that he writes sexual books. That comment made some students uneasy.

"I think it's something you don't need to announce to a class, let alone teenagers, because it's just awkward to hear that from your teacher and then you honestly don't want to go to his class every day," Matthew Lause, a freshman, said.

Parents say Rappatta also posted inappropriate material on his Facebook page.

School district officials said they do extensive background checks on their teachers.
