Hancock Makes Plans For Tokyo

DENVER (Denver Business Journal) – Denver Mayor Michael Hancock will travel to Tokyo in October to continue the city’s efforts to create a direct flight from Denver International Airport to Asia.

Hancock traveled to Japan four times during his 2003-11 tenure as a city councilman in order to establish a relationship with leaders of that country and with officials of All Nippon Airways. The October visit will be his first official visit there as the city’s highest elected official.
