Boulder Police Seek Photos Of Officer Assault
BOULDER, Colo. (AP) -- A man accused of refusing to pay his $3 drink tab at a Boulder restaurant and punching a manager who tried to escort him out also is accused of assaulting a police officer.
Police say officer Christian McCracken was taken to a hospital after the alleged assaults Friday. Police are looking for witnesses with photos or videos.
A manager at The Sink told police 23-year-old Treven Hunter repeatedly punched him when he tried to escort him out Friday. Police say after Hunter was outside, he assaulted McCracken when McCracken tried to handcuff him.
Hunter faces charges of second-degree assault, third-degree assault, third-degree trespassing, resisting arrest and obstructing a peace officer. He is free on bond. He didn't return an email Wednesday seeking comment.
