Aurora Considers Using Gunshot Sensors
AURORA, Colo. (AP) - The Aurora City Council is considering gunshot sensors in some of its most violent neighborhoods.
Officials say the system could pinpoint the origin of a gunshot more accurately and more quickly than someone calling 911.
According to the Denver Post, councilman Ryan Frazier says northwest Aurora residents are worried about rising violence and he believes public education and a system to detect gunshots and report them to police in an instant will help authorities.
