2nd Dr. Arrested, Accused Of Overprescribing Medications

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (CBS4)- A second doctor accused of over prescribing medications to patients in Colorado is in custody.

Dr. Eric Peper used to run several clinics in western Colorado, including Grand Junction. He was arrested on Wednesday in Florida.

Another doctor, Sam Jahani, was arrested Monday in Texas.

They're accused of prescribing pain killers to patients they knew were already addicted to the drugs, or could become addicted. Four of patients have died.
