Much Of Downtown Denver Office Space For Sale

DENVER (AP) - More than a sixth of the office space in downtown Denver is for sale, according to The Denver Post.

The newspaper reports Saturday that prominent buildings such as the Wells Fargo Center and the Qwest building are on the block. Seven buildings totaling 4.5 million square feet are for sale. That represents more than 17 percent of the downtown market.

Commercial real estate experts say the news is good for Denver. One building owner said he is selling a building near Denver Union Station because he says the market is really hot and demand is strong for commercial space in the neighborhood.

Another investment broker said the buildings for sale will likely have multiple offers.
