Tubing Ban Lifted For Clear Creek
GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4)- Officials in Jefferson County have lifted the tubing ban on Clear Creek.
Inner tubes, body surfing and swimming on the rushing waters were restricted in June because of the high and fast moving water. The water levels were high because of the record snowmelt.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said Clear Creek is running much calmer now. Deputies warn anyone going into the water to be careful.
