Aurora Suspect At Large After Attempted Robbery, Bomb Scare

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Aurora are looking for the man who turned a robbery attempt into a bomb scare on Tuesday.

The man fired a gun inside a cash checking business and left behind what police call a possible explosive device.

It happened in the afternoon at the Ace Cash Express store on East Colfax.

Police say the man came in and demanded money, claiming he had a bomb. No one was hurt after he fired several shots.

A bomb squad responded to the scene after reports of the device came in.

The man was described as being a black man in his early 20s. He is about 6 feet tall with a thin build and weighing about 165 pounds. He was wearing a gray shirt, baggy jeans, sunglasses and a scarf.

On Tuesday the store hadn't been cleaned up yet. There was still debris apparently from the device on the floor.
