Aurora Police Release Sketch Of Police Impersonator

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Aurora have released a sketch of a man suspected of impersonating a police officer.

A woman said the man pulled her over in a phony police car at Alameda and Havana last Sunday night. She said he forced her out of the car and sexually assaulted her on the side of the road.

The Aurora attack was followed by two other suspicious incidents. A police impersonator pulled over a young woman in Jefferson County at Bowles and Wadsworth. On Friday Denver police said an impersonator pulled a woman over at Park Avenue west near Globeville.

In the second two incidents the women got away unharmed.

Police aren't saying if the three cases are related, but the suspect descriptions are similar.
