Dog The Bounty Hunter Accused Of Using Too Much Pepper Spray On Fugitive

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (CBS4)- The Mesa County Sheriff claims that Dog the Bounty Hunter used too much pepper spray on a fugitive which left people in the sheriff's office reacting to the chemicals.

Duane "Dog" Chapman used pepper spray to subdue a fugitive then brought him into the Mesa County Sheriff's Office.

Employees said the man was brought into the office without being decontaminated.

Deputies claim the surveillance video backs up their claim. It shows people having coughing fits after the fugitive was brought in.

Chapman and his wife claim the suspect was cleaned and fed before they handed him over to authorities.
