Evans Man Faces More Charges Over Seized Horses
GREELEY, Colo. (AP) - Prosecutors have filed two more charges against a rural Evans man who had a dozen horses seized from his property in late June.
Jose Louis Meza-Franco, 33, was already charged with seven misdemeanor animal cruelty counts. The Greeley Tribune reports prosecutors filed two more counts this week.
Authorities allege some of the animals seized from his property had ribs showing.
