Cherry Creek North Shows Off Its $18M Makeover

DENVER (CBS4) - This weekend Denver's Cherry Creek North neighborhood is showing off its $18 million makeover and there were plenty of kids out helping shoppers cool off.

There were 50 lemonade stands throughout the shopping district Saturday for Cherry Creek North's 41st annual sidewalk sale. Kids ages 3 to 16 were invited to sell the cool drinks and raise money for their favorite charities.

The event also teaches the kids how to run their own business.
