Central Light Rail Line Shut Down For 3 1/2 Weeks

DENVER (CBS4)-Starting at midnight Saturday and lasting for the next three and a half weeks, the Central Light Rail Line will be shut down. That means no train service between 10th and Osage Station and Union Station.

RTD will be running a bus shuttle service during the closure. The line is scheduled to reopen August 14.

The closure will allow RTD to finish work connecting the new West Light Rail Line into the existing network.

There will also be weekend closures on the downtown line between 10th and Osage and the Colorado Convention Center for repairs and upgrades. Bus shuttles will be in place there, as well.
