The latest tool to help parents track their kids activities on Facebook is called “MinorMonitor.” Here’s how it works– Through email, parents can access snapshot and detailed analysis of potential dangerous activities such as bullying, hate crimes, drug use and sexual references.
MinorMonitor can provide:
- Continuous monitoring of Facebook with alerts on potentially dangerous activities
- Analyze friend network and identifies suspicious friends
- Dashboard-like view with drill down capabilities
- Real-time email alerts

MinorMonitor analyzes wall posts, photos, videos, messages and other Facebook content to alert parents about cyberbullying, drug use, sexual references and other undesirable activity.

One more thing: If you take away your child’s phone but they still have access to their Ipod, they can download a free app that will turn their Ipod into a text messager.
