DPD: 'Bump And Run Bandit' Arrested In NY

DENVER (CBS4) The man suspected of being the criminal known as the "Bump and Run Bandit" after a series of robberies in the Denver metro area is under arrest.

Ronald Davis, 43, was arrested in New York City on Saturday, according to Denver Police. He was arrested in the Bronx for allegedly providing false information.

Davis was wanted in Colorado for allegedly commiting crimes between April 20 to May 1.

Detectives said Davis used his vehicle to bump the rear of female victims' cars. Once the victims got out to view the damage, the suspect would push the victim out of the way and reach into the victims' cars, takes their purses and then drive away.
