11-Year-Old Honored After Saving Friend's Life

PARKER, Colo. (CBS4)- An 11-year-old boy was honored in Parker on Tuesday after he saved his friend's life. William Westfall was at a community swimming pool in June when he pulled his friend to the shallow end after he saw him floating in the water.

William called for help once he got his friend out of the deep water.

South Metro Firefighters responded to the accident and said it is remarkable that William knew exactly how to respond and make a life-saving move.
