GENESEE, Colo. (CBS4) – A semi flipped over early Monday afternoon in the middle of the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70, injuring one person.
The crash happened in the foothills, just before 1 p.m., at Mount Vernon Canyon near the Genesee exit, and boxes of fruit spilled all over the highway. Several lanes were closed and there were backups for several hours.
It’s not clear what caused the semi to flip over.
