DENVER (AP) – Rep. Jared Polis of Colorado and his longtime partner say they’re expecting to be parents in September.
The Denver Post reports that Polis said Tuesday he and partner Marlon Reis are both “very excited to become new parents.” The Democrat from Boulder is one of the few openly gay members of Congress.
The couple declined to comment on whether they’re adopting or having a child through a surrogate pregnancy.
Reis is a 29-year-old writer in Boulder.

Good for them! I hope its an adoption and not a surrogate child, lots of kids out there needing homes.
