Police Search For Suspects Who Vandalized Brighton Water Park

BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Brighton are looking for six people who vandalized a new water park just hours before the ribbon-cutting.

The vandalism happened early on the morning of June 17 at the Brighton Oasis Aquatic Park on Bromley Lane.

Surveillance cameras captured three of the six adults who broke in by climbing a fence. They threw furniture into the pool and poured some kind of liquid into the water before leaving. The pool was de-contaminated in case the liquid was dangerous.

A cash reward is being offered for information about the vandalism.
