Fourth Person Pleads Guilty In Connection With Valet Driver Death

DENVER (CBS4)- The fourth and final person charged in connection with the death of a Denver valet, has pleaded guilty. Eliu Montes-Garcia pleaded guilty to one count of accessory to a crime.

He was charged in connection with the death of Jose Medina. Medina, 21, was working at the Rock Star lounge at 9th and Lincoln when he was struck and killed.

Police said Montes-Garcia owned the vehicle used in the hit-and-run. Police said he helped hide the vehicle after the accident.

has pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide. She faces up to 12 years in prison when sentenced in September.

Guadalupe Bastida and Yolanda Bastida Nolasco pleaded guilty to helping the driver escape. Both will likely get probation.

Medina's family's attorney says they are grateful to everyone who helped pursue justice, particularly a cab driver who took down the truck's license plate.
