WINTER PARK, Colo. (AP) – Two lanes are now open on U.S. 40 over Berthoud Pass as crews clean up a rockslide.
Monday morning’s slide spread rocks, trees and water across the highway, about seven miles east of Winter Park.
Officials at the Colorado Department of Transportation say most of the debris was cleared from the roadway but a large boulder the size of a pick-up truck was blocking the westbound lane. Crews planned to break it up and remove it in pieces.
