Colorado Arson Dog ‘Sadie’ In Running For National Honor

DENVER (CBS4)- An arson dog from Colorado is in the running for a national honor for the Hero Dog Awards.

Sadie is nominated for the award from the American Humane Society. She is one of 14 dogs in the country nominated in the Law Enforcement/Arson Dog category. If she wins, $1,000 will be donated to the National Fire Dog Monument.

Supporters of Sadie can cast their votes for her at herodogawards.org. Supporters can vote for her once a day through the voting period which ends July 31.
