Volunteers Sprucing Up Wheat Ridge By Planting Trees

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) - Volunteers are sprucing up Wheat Ridge by planting trees.

The volunteers spent Tuesday morning planting almost 400 native trees along the city's green belt. They started out at Prospect Park and headed out.

But the job is not done yet. Volunteers will also adopt the trees, which means checking on them and watering them at least once a week.
