Now Easier To Have Chickens & Goats In Denver
DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver City Council approved dropping the fees for residents to keep chickens and mini goats.
Residents will now have to pay just a one-time only fee of $20. Previously they had to pay a $100 permit fee and then a yearly fee.
Residents will be able to keep eight chickens or ducks -- but not roosters or drakes -- and up to two dwarf goats without having to jump through any zoning hoops.
