‘American Idol’ Star In ‘Rock Of Ages’ Talks To CBS4

DENVER (CBS4) – It’s a national tour that gets as much attention for its star as its music, but “American Idol” star Constantine Maroulis says it’s the music that makes people dance in the aisles for “Rock of Ages.”

CBS4 Critic at Large Greg Moody got to talk with Maroulis backstage at the Buell Theatre on Tuesday.

“Constantine Maroulis has long impressed me as a guy who overcomes expectations. He’s a singer — but he’s more. He’s an actor — but more. And despite success he’s found on both TV with ‘American Idol’ and Broadway with ‘Rock of Ages,’ he’s looking toward finding more again,” Moody said.
