3 Plead Guilty In Hit & Run Death Of Denver Valet
DENVER (CBS4) - Three people have pleaded guilty in the hit-and-run death of a Denver parking valet.
A white pick-up hit 21-year-old Jose Medina in January. He was working at the Rockstar Lounge nightclub at 9th and Lincoln.
Norma Vera Nolasco was driving and pleaded guilty Monday to vehicular homicide. She faces up to 12 years in prison when sentenced in September.
Guadalupe Bastida and Yolanda Bastida Nolasco pleaded guilty to helping the driver escape. Both will likely get probation.
Medina's family's attorney says they are grateful to everyone who helped pursue justice, particularly a cab driver who took down the truck's license plate.
