EAGLE, Colo. (AP/CBS4) – Searchers have found a body in the Colorado River in Eagle County, 2 1/2 miles downstream from where a Denver man reportedly fell into the water.

Eagle County sheriff’s spokeswoman Shannon Cordingly said the body was found Monday morning, the second day of the search.

She said the body is believed to be that of 31-year-old Sterling Provost of Denver. A caller reported that he had fallen into the river Sunday morning but didn’t notify authorities until about an hour later. He fell at State Bridge, just north of Eagle.

The Summit County dive team and the Colorado Army National Guard searched for him all day Sunday.

Authorities believe alcohol was a factor in the incident.

Just for your info: It is Sterling Prevost

Why isn’t this “drowning” not investigated! Just because there was alcohol? Sterling was an avid swimmer even drunk! Also not reporting him falling in the river till an hour later? Someone should look into this a little deeper!
