Cyclist Dies On Day 3 Of Ride The Rockies

BUENA VISTA, Colo. (CBS4) – A cyclist in Ride The Rockies has died after a crash on the road.

Jim Deblois, 67, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., fell and hurt his head on Monday while coming down Tennessee Pass. The accident happened along Highway 24 on the route between Buena Vista and Edwards.

Deblois’ wife was riding ahead of him and no one apparently saw him go down.

Tuesday is Day 4 of the ride. The route on Tuesday runs 80 miles — from Edwards to Steamboat Springs.

        If you are white or black, latin or asian, I hate to tell you but you are NOT NATIVE Coloradan. The only natives are Utes/Cheyenne/Arapaho, etc. I hate these people that say they are “FROM” Colorado. I bet Julius is not “native” at all.

    thats pretty mean. that has nothing to do with anything. so your saying if people live in another state but have family in Colorado that they cant come to colorado to see family!? thats what your pretty much saying!
