Denver Ambulance Driver Hurt In Crash
DENVER (CBS4) - A Denver ambulance driver was seriously injured in an accident in the southwest part of the city on Tuesday night.
Police say the vehicle hit some bridge girders near West Alameda near Santa Fe. After the impact the driver was trapped in the wreckage and had to be rescued.
His partner who was also in the vehicle was not hurt.
There was no patient in the ambulance at the time of the crash.
It wasn't clear early Wednesday whether the ambulance was going to an emergency call or not.
