Soldier From Colorado Dies In Afghanistan

DENVER (AP) - The Department of Defense says a man from Fort Collins is one of two soldiers to die in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan.

Defense officials say 35-year-old Chief Warrant Officer Kenneth White died Sunday from his injuries sustained in the crash in Khost province. Also killed was 31-year-old Chief Warrant Officer Bradley Gaudet of Gladewater, Texas.

The two were assigned to the 1st Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y.
