Former Colorado Prep Star Brandt Jobe Makes A Comeback

We haven't heard much from Brandt Jobe recently.

The former Colorado prep star at Kent Denver High School has been battling a severe injury that almost ended his career.

When he finished second at the Memorial tournament last weekend there was definitely reason to celebrate.

Jobe suffered a freak injury 5 years ago while cleaning his garage. He cut off the tips of two fingers with a broom handle that snapped in half.

Those fingers have been reattached, but the effects still linger.

One of his hands is numb so he can't feel the golf club when he swings. That's bad, but his putting situation is possibly worse. If the end of his finger touches his other hand he has a mildly painful sensation he refers to as a "zing."

Jobe also qualified for the US Open at sectional qualifiers.
