20-Year-Old Skier Hurt In Indian Peaks Wilderness

WARD, Colo. (AP) - A man who was backcountry skiing in Boulder County is recovering from injuries after tumbling into rocks in the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area.

Boulder County sheriff's officials say 20-year-old Cameron Eibl had been skiing Saturday on the north slope of Niwot Ridge when he went off a cliff into a rocky area. Two friends who were with him called for help.

Sheriff's officials say a helicopter flew him to a hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries to his pelvis and leg.
