ASPEN, Colo. (AP) – Aspen Mountain is offering late spring skiing again this weekend.
The resort re-opened for skiing on Memorial Day weekend, and it says there’s enough snow to do it again. The plan is to offer weekend skiing through July 4 if conditions allow.
About 1,700 skiers and snowboarders visited the mountain on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend alone.
Arapahoe Basin is still open too, and it plans to be open Friday through Sunday for at least two more weekends after this. A-Basin says it will offer weekend skiing through July 4 if the snow is still good.
