Hancock Gets 2 More Endorsements

DENVER (CBS4) - Voters in Denver have one week to return their ballots for the city's mayoral runoff election and both candidates are looking for every vote they can get.

On Tuesday members of the Latino Ministry Coalition and the Greater Metro Denver Ministerial Alliance announced they're endorsing Michael Hancock.

"This is what makes Denver great right here. It's men and women of all different faiths, all different hues and colors and backgrounds coming together for the greatness of our city; we're going to come together," Hancock said.

"You shake hands every day, those are six Denver voters, six who believe that I'm going to put people back to work and create jobs in Denver," candidate Chris Romer said. "It was pretty easy. This is no longer a popularity contest. It's about interviewing the next CEO for Denver."

Ballots have to be received at the Denver Elections Office by next Tuesday.
