Man Drives To Safeway After Being Shot

DENVER (CBS4) – Denver police would like the public’s help locating a suspect in a shooting that happened Sunday morning.

Sonny Jackson with Denver police said the victim, who was driving a car at the time, was shot near Kentucky Avenue and Krameria Street. After being shot he apparently drove himself to a nearby Safeway store for help.

The suspect, who police believe was on foot at the time, is described as a light-skinned black man wearing a black t-shirt. He possibly fled in a black Honda Accord or Chevy Impala.

“We don’t know what motivated the shooting or what led up to it,” Jackson said.
