Dozens Of Neglected Animals In Foster Care

LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4)- Dozens of neglected animals are getting the care they deserve with foster families in the Denver metro area. More than 60 dogs, puppies and cats were rescued from a Ute Indian Reservation in the Four Corners area.

The animals include 31 puppies, 10 dogs and 15 cats. The puppies are four to six weeks old and will be available for adoption in two to four weeks.

The animals found safe haven at the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley after being rescued by volunteers from the Colorado Animal Welfare League.
