BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4) – Brighton police would like the public’s help locating a missing woman.

Dedra Boggs, 43, was last seen one week ago on Mother’s Day. The mother of two hasn’t been seen since she left work on Sunday evening. Her car was found abandoned in Central City.

Boggs’ family has planned a vigil Saturday evening in Fort Lupton.

The shallow reporting, leaves much to the imagination

Wow, KCNC put a lot of effort into this story, the facts are not even correct, she didn’t arrive at work on Monday.

Where does it say she was at work on Monday. As far as I can tell she was last seen on Sunday. Besides — looks like they did a much expanded version of the story when they found out more information from police and the family.

you are doing this young woman a disservice with the way this been reported…post her photo…..tell people the facts…..we need to find her…..please

I agree with everyone’s disgust with the media on this one. If Dedra were a 18 or 19 year old attractive girl, they would be all over it like it was the most important story of the year. I know this family, and they deserve better. Dedra deserves better. They deserve all the help anyone can give them to help bring her home.

They updated the story — you people need some patience — sometimes leg work needs to be done but it looks like KCNC wanted to get at least some info about the missing woman posted and I’m sure the family is grateful. As youi can see this story was posted at 5:41 pm on Sunday. I saw a full report on the 10pm news with interviews with friends and family that must have been shot after that since a vigil was scheduled in the evening. Settle down and start looking for her. Here’s the updated version:
