Another Round Of Snow Hits Colorado Mountains
IDAHO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- After record or near record snowfall in many areas of Colorado, snow is once again hitting the high country.
Snow started falling in some areas Tuesday evening. It continued into Wednesday. A Winter Storm Warning and Winter Weather Advisory are in effect for most of the high country through 6 p.m. Wednesday. Those areas could receive up to a foot of new snow.
Some emergency management officials are concerned about rushing water and flooding from runoff once the snowpack begins to melt. The statewide snowpack is listed at 147 percent of average.
