LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – A Lakewood man living in a home where a day care facility was being operated faces charges of possessing child pornography, distribution of child pornography, and attempted sexual exploitation of a child.

Cody Charlton, 31, lived with his parents at a home at 1958 South Van Gordon Street in Lakewood where his mother ran an at-home day care.

Police found sexually graphic video and still images of children when they served a search warrant on the home April 28.

The Jefferson County District Attorney’s office told CBS4 none of the images were children in the day care.

Charlton is charged with four counts of sexual exploitation of a child and one count of attempted sexual exploitation. He is free on a $15,000, but the conditions include not having contact with anyone under the age of 18, not using the Internet, and not possessing weapons.

He is due back in court May 26.
