Panel OKs Lifting Bag Limits At Bonny Reservoir

SALIDA, Colo. (AP) – The Colorado Wildlife Commission has approved an emergency rule lifting bag limits for all fish at Bonny Reservoir in northeast Colorado.

The reservoir in Yuma County is scheduled to be drained this fall to comply with a compact with Kansas and Nebraska on use of the Republican River. The Division of Wildlife recommended an emergency rule lifting the bag limits so anglers could catch fish before then.

The commission approved the rule this week.
