Water Released From Dillon Reservoir To Ease Flooding Concerns
DILLON, Colo. (CBS4)- Water managers are trying to stay ahead of possible flooding in the high country over the next few weeks. Denver Water is releasing water from Dillon Reservoir.
Denver Water hopes the release of water will guard against flooding downstream when the snow melt is under way.
It also means Dillon Reservoir won't fill up until later in the spring, possibly as late as mid-June.
