LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Lakewood say a man suspected of shooting a woman in the face is dead.
Melvin “Catfish” Nelson was suspected in the shooting of a 72-year-old woman during an attempted robbery in Lakewood on Saturday. The woman, Charlene Clay, survived. (Full Story)
Police located Nelson overnight at a motel near Interstate 25 and 38th Avenue.Officers repeatedly asked him to surrender and after a SWAT team moved in they found Nelson dead from an apparent self inflicted gunshot.

What a selfish way to end it.. He should have been a man and faced it head on.. The good thing- saves us tax payers some money..
