Rock Mitigation Causes Delays On I-70
GEORGETOWN, Colo. (CBS4) - Drivers along Interstate 70 dealt with some delays Tuesday morning as crews did more rock mitigation along the mountain corridor.
It started at 10:30 a.m.
The Colorado Department of Transportation stopped traffic from Silver Plume to Georgetown in 20 minute spurts.
Crews shut down the highway for a full day earlier in April to work on the major rock scaling project.
