Police Bust Metro Area Burglary Ring

DENVER (CBS4) - Six men and women accused in a burglary ring that targeted homes across the Denver area are now under arrest.

Douglas County authorities released mug shots of the suspects on Monday. Investigators say the group would knock on doors to see if anyone was home. If not, they would break-in and make off with high-end electronics, cash and jewelry.

The suspects used suitcases, pillow cases, or other types of bags to load property and transport it to a box style truck in the parking lot, making it appear as if the occupants were moving out.

The following six people were arrested:

-- Brad Erickson, 33
-- Kelly Johnson, 43
-- Lee Redinger, 31
-- Andrea DeLeon, 35
-- Lisa Everhart, 32
-- John Lash, 44

Detectives say the group is linked to at least 42 burglaries since last summer. They've recovered 2,000 pieces of stolen property.
