UNC ‘Significant Threat’ Warning Issued For Former Students
GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4)- The University of Northern Colorado has issued a warning to students about a former student who could represent a “significant threat.”
Eric Kinder is out of jail on work release. He pleaded guilty to felony menacing for a standoff with police in Greeley in Oct. 2010.
Kinder has been released from jail and is serving 12 years of probation. He is banned from the UNC campus and from owning guns. Police said Kinder had a substantial collection.
UNC has claimed Kinder confronted university members and admitted to writings of homicidal and suicidal thoughts.
Kinder reportedly complained in court on Tuesday that his life has been ruined because the school overreacted.
